Dog Waste & Your Health
Dog feces is more than just a nuisance - it can pose a serious health hazard. Why? A number of common parasites, including round worm, are transmitted via dog feces. When infected dog droppings are left on the ground, the eggs of the roundworms and other parasites can linger in the soil for years. As a result, those who come in contact with the soil are also exposed to the infected eggs.

Children run the greatest risk of infection because they are prone to play in the dirt at the park or playground and then put their hands in their mouths or rub their eyes with their hands. But even a group of teens or adults playing frisbee or touch football in an open area could be in danger. Parasitic infections can make humans extremely sick, and for pregnant women, can pose a serious harm to their unborn child.

The Poop-Scoopers Policies

Billing: All accounts are billed on a monthly basis. Monthly statements are for services rendered from the 1st through the last day of that month.

Late Payments: There is a $10.00 fee for late payments.
30 days past due - You have 10 days to remit payment before service is temporarily suspended.
60 days past due - Your account will be canceled, and sent to collections.

Returned Checks: There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks.

Cancellations: Must be 24 hours in advance or the regular visit fee will be charged.

Weather: Heavy rain or snow can prevent us from making our regularly scheduled visits. In that case we will be there on the next available day. Since inclement weather does not prevent your pet from doing his/her business between visits, the next visit will be priced based on how many days have passed since we were last there.

Pricing: Prices will be based on how many dogs there are vs. how many days have passed between visits.
2-4 days = "twice a week" pricing.
5-10 days = "once a week" pricing.
11-19 days = "every other week" pricing.
20-30 days = "once a month" pricing
